I love questions. I know that may seem a trite statement, but it is true. I enjoy writing, but I do so much better when there is a dialogue; a give and take, connections and exchanges between people. This is why my replies to comments can get so wordy! When people ask me questions, I get to think and consider things I may have otherwise missed.
So if you have any questions at all for me, your asking them does us both a favor. You can get your questions answered to the best of my abilities, and I can see a new angle and new perspective and know what is important to others so that I can address it further.

I have recently stumbled onto your blog, and I have enjoyed it very much. The post you wrote about Britomartis, the goddess who runs, was particularly powerful for me. When I was reading it, I really felt as though I was there with you – feeling the earth beneath scraped-up feet, and smelling the salt air, and feeling the sting of cold water…
So I suppose I don’t have a specific question, but I just wanted you to know that I have read your blog, and that I look forward to reading that book you mentioned, once it comes out.
I am fairly interested in the Minoans, and it drives me nuts that Linear A is still so mysterious.

Thank you so much! It made me happy that I could get across a sense of you being there with my writing; I am woefully out of practice, so it’s good to know when I hit on describing something well.
The book is a long way off; I got particularly derailed lately. My spirituality is currently kind of split in two ways. When I’m in the mode not really related to the Minoans, it’s really hard for me to work on writing about it. That’s also the main reason why this blog goes through such quiet spells. But it will happen eventually, and updates will be posted here!
The current state of Linear A used to drive me crazy, too. It still does sometimes, but most of the time I’ve started to accept it.
